Steven "Steve" Paul Jobs

He was born February 24, 1955 and put up for adoption. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs and named Steven Paul Jobs.
In high school, Jobs met Steve Wozniak. Together along with Ronald Wayne they founded Apple Computer, Inc. (later known as Apple, Inc.).
Originally the sales of Macintosh, a computer released by Apple in 1984 were disappointing and Sculley pushed Jobs out as the head of Apple in 1985. Jobs went on to work on a new operating system called NextStep. He also went on to acquire Pixar Animation Studios and became a billionaire when the company went public in 1995. The new Apple CEO Gilbert Amelio, worried the company is falling behind with its operating system, buys NextStep and brought Jobs back as a consultant.
In 2004 Steve Jobs took a short leave of absence to receive treatment for pancreatic cancer. In 2011, 7 years later, Jobs announced he was taking his second medical leave of absence. He says he will continue as CEO and will be involved in major decisions.
Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56. The cause for his death was pancreatic cancer which he was battled for years. Tim Cook replaced Jobs as Apple's CEO after his death. On October 19th Apple store in Cupertino, Calif. held a secret memorial service webcast to its stores, which were closed for the event. Many Apple stores hung white curtains in their front window to pay their respects to Steve Jobs.

Stephen "Steve" Gary Wozniak

He was born in San Jose, California on August 11, 1950. His father was an engineer who gave him a crystal radio kit when he was 7 and a electronic kit when he was 8. While he was not a great student, he did show promise in his ability to build electronics from scratch.
He briefly attended the University of California at Berkeley. This is when he met Steve Jobs. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for brief time before he, Steve Jobs, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer on April 1, 1976.
Soon after starting Apple Computer, he created Apple I, which was mostly built out of Steve Jobs garage and bedroom. He also created Apple II in 1977. This went on the be one of the first successful mass produced home computers.
He left Apple Computers in 1987. He went on to found other ventures including CL 9, which was responsible for the first programmable universal remote.

Ronald Wayne
He along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak helped found Apple Computer. Soon after he left Apple Computer and sold his share in the company for a total of $2,300.
